Hanover Area Young Professionals is building a float for the Hanover Halloween Parade! Children are welcome to walk with our float but must be under parental supervision at all times.
We'll be meeting at 585 McAllister Street (Hanover Land Services), starting at 3 p.m. and will be moving over to the formation line around 5 p.m. Please be at Hanover Land Services by 6:30 p.m. Contact information will be posted at Hanover Land Services when a parade committee member is not at the building for direction.
McAllister will be closed in this area starting around 5 p.m. and lasting until the final floats have entered the parade.
Tell us if you'll be joining the party! All participants are requested to wear all black outfits.

Responsible for overall oversight of HAYP, including directing committee work and managing the organization's budget. Members of the board include the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, committee chairs, and members-at-large.

Develop new ways to attract HAYP members and stay engaged with current members. Membership committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone is welcome to participate. Meet at El Rodeo.

Engage with and provide local companies and individuals the opportunity to support young professionals in the area. Anyone is welcome to attend the Corporate Sponsorship Committee at the Chamber of Commerce. Meetings occur on the second Friday of each month--in person meetings for March, June, Sept., Dec. and virtually via conference calls for other months. Use contact information to get the call-in number.
Join us at Let's Play: Games & Hobbies on Thursday, November 21st for a happy hour, and network with other young professionals in the area! This month, HAYP is collecting toys for Children's Aid Society! Please bring a new, unwrapped toy donation valued $10.00 or more and be entered to win a $25 gift card. (And if you forget, Let's Play has LOTS of games available for purchase!)
If you are unable to attend, toy donations may also be dropped off to Children's Aid Society (343 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford) or the Hanover Chamber office (146 Carlisle St., Hanover) from November 1st until November 22nd (excluding weekend).
